The Benefits
Enzymes for immune health?*
Health begins in the gut, but it doesn’t stop there. Support your immune system with 2x the enzyme support, to get back to living life to the fullest!*
Immune Defense™ Extra Strength contains proteolytic enzymes that help break down unwanted proteins and additional enzymes to target and help break down excess mucus.*
The Science
How Enzymes Target Excess Mucus*
Some enzymes support digestion while others work perfectly for cutting up and breaking down irritants and mucus.* All year, airborne irritants may cause a variety of discomforts. Mucolase may help promote respiratory function, while Protease Thera-blend® targets the protein component often found in irritants.*
Because Immune Defense™ Extra Strength uses all-natural enzymes, it’s non-drowsy and free of side effects.
How Enzymes Break Down More Than Food
Digestive enzymes are taken with meals to help break down foods faster (for more energy and better nutrient absorption).
Systemic enzymes are taken between meals on an empty stomach.* This timing is everything: They can go beyond the digestive system, into the bloodstream – and to the specific cells and tissues that need their help.*
Thera-blend® is the Difference
Enzymedica's proprietary Thera-blend® technology means that the enzymes found in Immune Defense™ Extra Strength will work throughout the entire pH spectrum found in your body. When other brands’ enzyme formulas may fall short, in almost all acidic or alkaline environments, Immune Defense™ Extra Strength will be effective.
Recommended Dose
Take 1 capsule twice daily on an empty stomach, 1 hour before or 2 hours after a meal.
